The Shade Room Drug Testing, Background Checks & Amount Of Experience Reportedly Becoming Less Important To Employers Struggling To Fill Jobs –

Published

on

If you beat yourself up every time you’re denied a job or simply got passed over for a position due to things that happened back in the day, you may be in luck because a new report states that hiring standards are becoming more relaxed.

According to @CNN, employers nationwide are seriously struggling to fill job positions, leading them to focus less on drug testing, background checks and amount of experience—all things which can quickly knock out qualified candidates in the early stages of the hiring process.

Bob Camire says his company, New England Document Systems, doesn’t automatically disqualify job applicants for drug or alcohol-related offenses and motor vehicles issues unless the job is specifically geared towards a driver or safety position.

Almost 40% of U.S. employers state that they have relaxed the job requirements for positions in order to attract workers who normally wouldn’t even think of applying due to past indiscretions. A number of companies are also lowering educations requirements, specifically those requiring an associate’s, bachelor’s or an MBA degree.

As for drug testing, while potential employees may still be tested, many companies are now saying that they have lowered the requirements if a drug test comes back for mainly marijuana or dropped marijuana completely from testing—which is likely due to its increasing legalization across the country.

Wages are also going up in an attempt to lure workers, with many companies increasing minimum wage to reflect what the average person/family needs to live on. Additionally, those of senior age are also benefitting, as more companies are looking to hire them instead of putting their applications to the side in favor of someone younger.

Roommates, do you agree with these changes?

City Girls Member JT Explains How You Should Slide In Her DMs—“I’m QUEEN GANG MEMBER”

Published

By

City Girls member JT is still living her best life following her prison release a few months ago. She’s been posted up on the ‘gram making up for all the lost time she missed when she was away. This also includes entertaining potential boo prospects—and she just recently let everyone know how you should address her if you decide to slide in her DMs.

Now that JT, one half of the popular rap group the City Girls, is officially a single lady following the end of her previous relationship with fellow rapper Lil Yachty, and she is apparently ready to find her a new boo—but if you’re interested you better be careful how you address her or things will be over before they even really start.

In a recent post on her Twitter page, JT didn’t hold back when it came to explaining to all potential men how she prefers to be addressed:

“Don’t be in my dm talking bout “queen” bitch I’m a gang member! You right I’m a QUEEN GANG MEMBER address me as such.”

Well alright, there is definitely no mistaking exactly what she means. As for how fans responded to her tweets, well some were critical of JT posting a message that confirms her alleged gang activity considering that she was just released from prison only a short time ago.

Granted her prison time was only for fraud, but some fans still thought that the new tweets were inappropriate.

Roommates, what are your thoughts on this?

Suri Cruise Looks Just Like Katie Holmes Running Errands In NYC – Hollywood Life

Published

Suri Cruise is all grown up! The teen was spotted enjoying a coffee and holding a Sephora bag as she ran errands in NYC.

Suri Holmes, 13, appears to be getting ready for the holidays! The teen bundled up for the cool east coast temperatures as she ran errands solo in New York City on Saturday, Dec. 7. She wore a bright pink peacoat, blush zip-up sweater and matching hot pink Ugg boots for the outing, throwing on a sensible pair of gray sweatpants. The stylish Suri pulled her look together with a tan glove-shaped side purse that appeared to be made out of the shaggy fabric made popular by the Teddy coat — perfect for a teen on-the-go! With her brunette hair in a loose pony tail, Suri proved she’s looking so much like her gorgeous mom Katie Holmes, 40.

With a to-go coffee cup in a tray, the teenager also appeared to stop in for a healthy juice or two at NYC’s Juice Press which offers the “highest quality and freshest organic ingredients” as she held onto a brown paper bag from the shop. Fresh faced Suri was also holding onto a black-and-white Sephora bag, and we are absolutely dying to know what beauty goodies she stocked up on! In her other hand, she clutched onto two silver gift bags, one which read “Christmas,” “peace” and “love” hinting that she was ready to get her wrapping done early. Katie and Tom Cruise‘s daughter looked so grown up as she confidently strolled the streets of the Big Apple solo.

Suri has definitely taken some fashion cues from her stylish mom over the years, and loves showing off her ever-changing style. Looking yet again like Katie’s twin, we loved the boho vibe of Suri’s look as she hung out with a friend in NYC on Sept. 30. The maroon chiffon top featured a pretty paisley print, which she paired with a holiday-ready yellow velvet skirt — something we could totally see Katie wearing.

Katie and Suri often twin for their outings together, and looked absolutely adorable in matching denim for a visit to Fordham University’s School of Law back in August! Suri showed off her girly style with a pink pair of converse sneakers and a blush colored top with feminine tiers. “I was happy to become a mom in my 20s,” Katie recently said in an interview to Elle UK published on Nov. 4. “It’s been nice that our ages fit…Every age that my child has been and my age at that time has been a good match. We kind of grew up together.”
