Queen Elizabeth II Has Agreed To Let Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Move To Canada Part-Time

TSR Updatez: It was quite the bombshell last week when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their plans to step back from their royal positions and move out west, especially before discussing it with the Queen.

Well, Queen Elizabeth II has finally broken her silence on the matter after meeting with Harry and Meghan. This morning, Queen Elizabeth said she “would have preferred” that the couple remain “full-time working Members of the Royal Family” but says she respects their decision “to live a more independent life as a family,” according to NBC News.

“My family and I are entirely supportive of Harry and Meghan’s desire to create a new life as a young family,” Her Majesty said in a statement. “Harry and Meghan have made clear that they do not want to be reliant on public funds in their new lives. It has therefore been agreed that there will be a period of transition in which the Sussexes will spend time in Canada and the UK.”

But the deal’s not over yet. The queen added that the details of the young couples’ decision to distance themselves from the Royal Family still have to be worked out.

“These are complex matters for my family to resolve, and there is some more work to be done, but I have asked for final decisions to be reached in the coming days,” the queen said.

The queen’s announcement came after the British royals held an emergency summit that was triggered by the couple’s shocking announcement that they planned to “step back” from their traditional roles in the family.

Last week the Duke and Duchess of Sussex dropped the bombshell on their social media. You can read all the details about their announcement here.

Roommates, what are your thoughts on this unprecedented move by the Duke and Duchess? Let us know!

Eminem’s ‘Darkness’ Video Recreates Las Vegas Shooting: Video – Hollywood Life

Published

The visuals in Eminem’s surprise new video for ‘Darkness’ are absolutely haunting, as the rapper unexpectedly reenacts the tragic Las Vegas shooting to advocate for gun control.

Eminem surprised fans with a new album, Music to Be Murdered By, on Jan. 17, and along with the record, he also dropped a music video for the song, “Darkness.” The song and video start out as the story of a man who is slowly losing control, and turning to alcohol and pills to help numb the pain. The subject of the song is seemingly in a hotel room before taking the stage at a show, and his anxiety is creeping in as he notices that there aren’t as many people in the crowd as he expected. However, it isn’t long before the story takes a tragic turn.

It turns out that the person who’s telling the story in the song isn’t the performer at the show. Rather, it’s from the point of view of Stephen Paddock — the man who opened fire on the Route 91 Music Festival from the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Oct. 2017, killing 59 people and injuring dozens more. “I’m already sweatin’ but I’m locked and loaded,” Eminem raps. “For rapid fire, spittin’ for all the concert-goers, scopes or sniper vision, surprise from out of nowhere, as I slide the clip in from inside the hotel.”

As if the lyrics weren’t chilling enough, the video is even more haunting. The footage literally shows a man picking up an assault rifle, then firing dozens of shots out the window. When he sees the cops coming down the hall, he picks up a gun and shoots himself. The song’s lyrics also conclude with, “If you’d like to know the reason why I did this, you’ll never find a motive, truth is, I have no idea, I am just as stumped, no signs of mental illness, just tryin’ to show ya the reason why we’re so f***ed, cause by the time it’s over, won’t make the slightest difference.” It’s a powerful message, reminding listeners that we still don’t have answers for the motive behind the tragic shooting in Las Vegas.

At the end of the video, more clips play from other mass shootings around the United States. It ends with this message: “When will this end? When enough people care. Register to vote at Vote.gov. Make your voice heard and help change gun laws in America. For information on how you can help please visit eminem.com/darkness.”

Best Coast Enlist Vanderpump Rules Stars for New Video: Watch

Published

Best Coast have shared a new song, “Everything Has Changed,” and an accompanying video starring Vanderpump Rules cast members. Watch the Ryan Baxley-directed video, which stars Beth Cosentino as a grouchy gameshow host, below.

In a press release, Cosentino describes the origins of “Everything Has Changed” and new album Always Tomorrow: “After we finished the album cycle for California Nights, something terrifying happened to me. I felt creatively paralyzed. I couldn’t write music. There was so much bubbling inside of me, so many things happening, so much to process, but I couldn’t get any of it out. I was miserable and felt like nothing was ever going to change. One day, I locked myself in my closet and I forced myself to write, and out came “Everything Has Changed.” The song was like a vision of life I wished I was living; ultimately, that song was prophetic—describing the life I would soon be living.

Out February 21, Always Tomorrow also features the previously released “For the First Time.”
